There are usually two or three DD events. Usually this will overlap with a tournament, letting you score points for both simultaneously, check the schedule at the beginning of the event to confirm timing.
Stage 20 will give you about 0.7 points per 1 energy spent, so it's not as efficient as a tournament, and you're looking at somewhere between 40-ish energy to complete DD. Dungeon diver rewards vary, they've been set at anywhere from 2850 to 4400 points over the last few summoning events.The ratio goes down a bit for lower stages, meaning it will take more energy if you can't do stage 20. If you can farm stage 20 dungeons, you will average about 1 event point per 1 energy spent, or around 2250 energy per tournament. The rewards for tournaments are generally set at 2250.Here are the benchmarks I use for fusion/fragment events, along with some other info on point totals:
